REBUILD PROCESS

VMX1144
  1. Customer submits a list of model numbers and quantities of tubes.
  2. LXO provides its best estimate of price and delivery for rebuilding, based upon receiving serviceable old tubes from the customer.
  3. Customer ships old tubes to the LXO facilities, if possible in the original packaging to prevent further damage.
  4. Upon arrival, the tubes are electrically tested and analyzed to determine the type of work required to return them to "like new" condition. Based on the damage detected, each tube is routed to the appropriate rebuilding station.
  5. Upon completion of rebuilding, each tube is tested to the original manufacturer's specifications and/or the appropriate MIL spec.
  6. The rebuilt tubes are shipped back to the customer, and are generally covered by a standard 12-month, 3000 hours pro rata warranty. Longer warranty applies in certain cases.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. It is not possible to repair ALL tubes. Some tubes cannot be repaired due to the following reasons:
    1. The damage is too great
    2. Their unique design or construction is not conducive to repair
    3. It is not economically viable to repair them
    4. Parts and components are not available
  2. Customer is responsible for shipping charges to and from the LXO installations. Prices include the REBUILDING process only.
  3. Rebuilding time is generally 4 to 5 weeks, depending on the type of the tube.
  4. Damaged tubes that cannot be repaired, will be returned at the customer's expense if required.
  5. Customer MUST provide serviceable DUDs with each order.
